Saraswati shishu vidya mandir is an unique institution based on indian tradition and culture. In all over india there are approximately 25,000 institution running under the guidance of Vidya bharati. "Shiksha Vikash Samiti,Odisha" is a registered organization affilated to Vidya Bharati.

Our shishu mandir was established in 1985 on the day of Sri Gundicha. It was started with 28 students & five teachers in Nayapalli Brit Colony near Indira Maidan at Plot No-12194/13.Since that day; it has become one of the prominent schools in Bhubaneswar.

Now it is located adjacent to The Hotel Presidency, NH-5 IRC Village. It has its own campus with 2 no’s 2 storied and one storied buildings. It is affiliated by Govt. of Odisha & it runs being with the co-operation of Shiksha Vikash Samiti Odisha. Now it consists of 50 teachers,, 3 Office Assistants & 7 Sebak Sebika. We are working towards the spiritual,educational development and character building of child .

Our school is managed by a Local Committee on the basis of "Vidya Bharti "guidelines. The school is housed in a magnificent building with a large playground and well-equipped laboratories, library, big auditorium, and computer room.Having suitable buses for the transport of students from different parts of the city and other allied areas. The school has a strength of about 1700 students and 60 teachers and about 20 non teaching staffs. It is also equipped with advance audio-visual aids like video system and latest computer system. The functioning of the school office is also computerized.
